MS-Word, other word processors, and some web browsers will insert hidden HTML into your web page when you copy and paste directly from their program into Joomla. This extra 'junk' will mess up your site formatting.
So to ensure you are only pasting content into the the Joomla editor follow this simple process.
1.) Copy the content from your word processor
2.) Locate and open the Windows Notepad program, usually found under Start Button > Accessories. (Mac users can use TextEdit with its preferences set to 'plain-text' mode.)
3.) Paste your content into Notepad.
4.) Highlight and copy the content
5.) Return to Joomla, and paste into the Joomla editor.
6.) Make any other changes or formatting in Joomla and then "Save" the article.
